Project Overview
The Hili Fun City project involved developing an exhaustive digital representation of the existing amusement park facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The primary objective was to establish a high-fidelity digital baseline of the entire theme park to support ongoing operational management, accurate asset documentation, and strategic future redevelopment or expansion planning.
OneClick BIM developed a fully coordinated, multidisciplinary As-Built BIM model that accurately captured the park's highly diverse landscape and mechanical features. This provided the park management team with dependable documentation for facility operations, design validation, and long-term asset lifecycle management.
OneClick BIM's Scope
OneClick BIM was responsible for translating vast site data into a synchronized, cohesive BIM model of the active amusement park.
The project scope included:
• Multidisciplinary As-Built Modelling: Developing architectural, structural, and MEP models of all park buildings and facilities.
• Amusement Ride Geometry Capture: Modelling complex mechanical and structural ride assets.
• Infrastructure & Utility Mapping: Documenting extensive pathways, landscape areas, and underground/above-ground utilities.
• Existing Conditions Consolidation: Unifying diverse asset data into a single source of truth.
• Centralised Digital Asset Management: Structuring the model to support facility management workflows.
Key Challenge
The primary challenge lay in capturing and consolidating massive, large-scale site information across fundamentally different asset types. Managing the tight intersection between complex, non-standard mechanical ride geometries, expansive landscape zones, and intricate underground utility networks required extreme precision. Developing a unified digital environment was critical to prevent data fragmentation, eliminate design uncertainties for future renovations, and maintain operational continuity.
OneClick BIM's Workflow
• Data Assessment & Scan-to-BIM: Evaluated incoming site survey and reality capture data to establish strict modelling parameters across all park zones.
• Multidisciplinary Model Development: Utilised Autodesk Revit to construct detailed, parallel models for the park's architecture, structural frameworks, and MEP systems.
• Complex Data Integration: Deployed Autodesk Navisworks to compile, aggregate, and review the highly complex ride geometries and sprawling infrastructure networks.
• Coordination & Quality Review: Conducted rigorous clash detection and spatial validation checks to ensure the digital model perfectly mirrored the real-world site conditions.
• Final Model Validation: Verified the complete ecosystem model against client operational requirements to ensure readiness for asset management.
Final BIM Delivery
OneClick BIM delivered a comprehensive, fully integrated As-Built BIM model of the entire Hili Fun City facility. By successfully consolidating complex site information into a single digital environment, the deliverables provided stakeholders with a reliable foundation for immediate maintenance, automated asset tracking, and seamless renovation or expansion planning.
