Project Overview

The London Data Center project involved construction-stage BIM coordination for a multi-level, mission-critical facility with highly congested building services. Key Challenge

The primary challenge was managing the high level of service congestion within the mission-critical data center environment.

Multiple systems had to be coordinated within restricted ceiling voids, risers, plant spaces, and service corridors while maintaining appropriate spatial clearances and access for installation and maintenance.

Coordination between MEP, electrical, cooling, fire protection, and specialist systems was therefore critical to identifying conflicts before they reached the construction site.
